This is also called as Fixed Eye Gazing and is used to improve concentration as well as also to cleanse the eyes.

TECHNIQUE


• Sit on a floor-mat in sukhasana or in any comfortable position, or even on a chair.
• Sit calmly and breathe normally with your waist, back and neck erect.
• Keep a pointed light source on a stool or table at a distance of 3 feet or arm's length away from you.
• Keep the source of light at eye level.
• Now, fix your gaze upon the light source.
• Continue to gaze non-stop, without blinking until you feel the strain in your eyes and they start to water.
• Once your focus becomes steady then close your eyes and then you focus on point A or point B or any knot that you would like to locate.
